8 - In the Psalms Part 1 | Allusions, Images, Symbols

The Psalms deal with the redemption of man, who was originally created as a king to live in communion with God. However, through self-deception and sin, he fell from this dignity. Jesus Christ offers us the opportunity to regain dominion over ourselves. His sacrifice on the cross removes our sinful nature and opens the way for inner renewal. This process involves the death of the old self and resurrection to a new life – through faith in Jesus and the work of the Holy Spirit.

However, many Christians often stop at the cross and fail to recognize that salvation is a longer journey that is meant to profoundly change the heart. The Bible describes this journey in detail: the heart must be purified so that God's love can dwell in it. The new life of Christ must be actively embraced – through faith, prayer, and daily devotion. The seven feasts of the sanctuary symbolize this process: from death with Christ to daily cleansing and transformation in the life of a believer. These images are important for understanding the true meaning of salvation and putting it into practice in everyday life.

In the eighth part of our series, we want to take a closer look at these symbols and deepen their meaning for our personal journey of faith so that we can better understand God's plan for our lives and actively implement it.
