The real competition takes place in the mirror.

You probably notice it yourself: when you look outward, pressure arises – and often only reaction. Looking inward is key: how you develop determines how your team thinks and acts.

When you work on yourself, your environment reacts differently – more innovatively, more courageously, more openly.

When you focus on yourself, you notice how much changes: you make decisions that don't follow the patterns of others and dare to experiment in ways that no one has dared before.

This creates space for curiosity and progress instead of just seeking validation. My goal as a leader is to move from pure reaction to creation, to be courageous, to make mistakes, and to learn from them.

When was the last time you put more energy into your own development than into comparing yourself to others? I'm curious to hear about your experience!
