10 - The Covenant and the Blueprint | Exodus

What did God's covenant with the people of Israel look like? And why was it unable to obey God? Why are we often unable to keep our promises? It is because of ignorance of our nature, our way of thinking. This error prevents us from doing what we want. And worst of all, man does not know that he is deceiving himself.

It is a great disaster that many Christians believe the world is as they perceive it to be. They think they have free will and can consciously do what they want. However, the reality is different. Let us consider the creation of man and the functioning of his mind. What happened to him after he deceived himself?

He became a prisoner of Satan and it would have remained so forever if God had not intervened in His love as a mediator. This captivity changed Adam and Eve internally: from then on, they no longer had free thoughts, but unfree ones. They were unable to do what they wanted and were trapped within themselves.

The subconscious mind performs a function that cannot be chosen. It is determined by the Creator and is subject to immutable law. The spirit lives on love and MUST satisfy its need. Love is information in words, images, and scripture. This information must be absorbed, for which the spirit needs a door: its identity. God has placed the truth about himself in man's heart, that he is a creature. Through this truth, he automatically binds himself to God and believes his words. From the truth, the impulse in the body was good, the emotions positive, and the body healthy.

Through self-deception, the lie takes the place of truth, and man sees himself at the door of his spirit – his identity – as God. He mistakenly believes that the lie is truth. As a result, he no longer absorbs external information correctly. Instead of binding himself to God, he binds himself to Satan and man. His decisions are no longer free, his emotions are unpleasant, and over time, his body becomes sick. Because of this false self-image, his will is no longer free either. Likewise, his actions are no longer free, even if they appear to be so outwardly.

That is why the people of Israel were unable to keep the covenant at that time. God wanted to help them by giving them the law. When we consider all this, we see that the work of salvation is not an easy one. The enemy is within us. We can promise all kinds of things outwardly, but in a crisis, evil comes out of us. Therefore, we need a clear understanding of ourselves and must know what needs to be changed through salvation. This and more is covered in the tenth part of the series “Exodus.”
