John C. Maxwell sums it up: leadership doesn't start in the company, it starts with yourself.
Because: If you can't lead yourself, you will only manage others - but never really inspire them. If you are not prepared to look at yourself, you will constantly want to solve problems on the outside. If you don't grow, you will prevent others from growing.
Here are three impulses to strengthen your self-leadership:
Be radically honest with yourself: Ask yourself: What are you distracting yourself with? Where do you sabotage you?
Act based on values: Do you make decisions out of principle or convenience?
Reflect daily: Take 10 minutes to reflect, adjust and refocus.
