True strength means self-leadership, not control

What makes a leader truly strong?

Spoiler alert: it's not being the loudest person in the room.

Nor is it asserting oneself at any cost.

Leadership strength is demonstrated through transparency, honesty, and the ability to empower people.

A strong leader...

  • remains calm in chaos.

  • makes decisions even when faced with uncertainty.

  • stands up for his values – even when it's uncomfortable.

  • leads himself – before leading others.

  • and above all: he actively empowers his team

My advice to you: If you really want to lead others strongly, ask yourself regularly: “What am I afraid of – and how much does that influence my behavior as CEO?”Because strength begins with self-reflection – not control.
